Question: How will I receive my version of PalmPolo?

Answer: The Palm OS PDA application and the PalmPolo desktop software can be downloaded directly on our download page. All you have to do is to HotSync the Palm .prc file to your Palm OS handheld device and instal the desktop software. The PalmPolo Palm OS Application can be used indefinately for free and the PalmPolo desktop aplication comes with a free 15 day trial.

Question: What happens when the free 15 day trial runs out?

Answer: The Palm OS desktop application comes with a free 15 day trial. After 15 days the software will need to be registered before you can use it again.

Question: How do I register PalmPolo?

Answer: If the 15 day free trial has not expired then open the software and click on the Help menu item and then click on Register. When the Register window opens click on the link that says "Click here to register." This will take you to the Chris Wheeler Web Designs PalmPolo web site to purchase the software.

If the 15 day free trial has expired then when the software opens the screen will tell you the software has expired. Click on the text that says "Your evaluation period has expired. Click Here to Register." When the Register window opens click on the link that says "Click here to register." This will take you to the Chris Wheeler Web Designs PalmPolo web site to purchase the software.

Question: Why do I have to register PalmPolo?

Answer: Registering PalmPolo allows you to use the software for an indefinate period of time. The PalmPolo Desktop Application software you download only allows for a 15 day free trial period.

Question: What if I change computers?

Answer: You can reregister your software using the Reregister form found here. Completing this form entirely is very important and this process may take up to two business days, as PalmPolo will have to verify that you have purchased an original version.

Question: What does PalmPolo do with the information I submit?

Answer: PalmPolo retains a minimal amount of information when you register PalmPolo. Only the purchasers Name, Address, Telephone Number, E-mail Address, and the PalmPolo Computer ID and PalmPolo ID are stored for future reference. Your Credit Card information is NOT stored when you register. Information is held primarily to allow users who upgrade or switch to new computers to verify their identity and reregister. This information is not stored on the Internet and is not accessable to the general public, mass marketers, or for uncolicited e-mail. This information is never sold or given away and is held in strict confedence.
